About Verena
Founder of Maxine CosmeticsVerena is a beautician, makeup artist and passionate beauty enthusiast. From the time she was a little girl, she dreamed of owning her own nail salon and beauty store filled with every kind of makeup imaginable. She was fascinated with the application of cosmetics at a very young age and could often be found admiring the beautiful brushes and palettes in beauty store displays.
As she grew up and began her career in makeup, she developed a greater interest in the products she was either applying or selling to clients. She was determined to understand all the different ingredients and formulas that went into the best makeup products. This passion of hers soon blossomed into a dream of someday working for companies like L’ORÉAL and Douglas.
In pursuit of her dream, she went to school to study Business and Management. Her goal was to develop a business skillset that she could combine with her mastery of makeup.
“As time went on, I could feel an entrepreneurial desire building inside of me. With my passion for beauty, I knew in my heart that I could someday pave my own way and create unique products for makeup lovers.”

One day, before leaving for a short trip to her hometown, she found the inspiration for her exciting new product. Like the many trips she had taken before, she was stuck trying to decide which makeup brushes to bring with her. After a lifelong fascination with brushes, she now had 50 to choose from and had to figure out how she would prevent them from making an absolute mess in her makeup travel bag. It was then that the idea of the Maxine Makeup Brush came to her.
This 3-in-1 Makeup Brush To-Go was precisely what she had always needed for her on-the-go lifestyle as a makeup artist and beauty lover. This compact solution would enable her to bring 3 of her most frequently used brush types while saving space in her makeup bag and keeping it clean. This is her passion project, and she cannot wait to share it with her fellow beauty lovers.
